Music@Curtin
Music@Curtin is not a club, but a University service that offers students/staff and local Perth musicians the oppotunity to perform to the Curtin Community. Where here to bring more life to the Curtin social scene by bringing you all types of different music in which you can relax, take in and enjoy all under the pines at Henderson Court.
We do a lot more than just showcase your music. Music@Curtin is a means for supporting local student and Perth bands. We are all about getting your music heard to the Curtin community, whilst developing your live experience. We here at Music@curtin are very passionate about this and encourage all to become involved with Music@Curtin!
Music@Curtin can provide you with the following services:
- Expand your musical horizons with acts you can listen to live and free (see Programme);
- Help you develop your confidence and ability to play live in front of 100 plus crowds (see Performer Information);
- Create a social networking tool within the Curtin community for other musicians to contact one another, promote up coming gigs, socialise via posters/newsletters/interenet and more (see Musos@Curtin);
- Provide access to hire music equipment and sound engineering skills to set up for functions, such as sun downers, Guild Club events etc... (See Event Services)
- If you miss a performance, don't cry. We understand the pressures of assignments and uni life. We upload the best bits into YouTube and make them available for you to watch when you've finished formatting your paper, or finishing the Harvard references (See Mulitmedia).
